HP DeskJet 5745 Printer Ink Cartridges

The deskjet 5745 is such a great buy, for its price, this printer is a bargain.  It looks good and very professional.  It also saves space as the paper tray can be pushed upright when not in use, not only is it space saving, it give the printer a cleaner look and finish as well.  It is cost effectice and can print more documents than any most other regular home or office printers.  Prints moderately fast - fast enough for home use or office use.  It is sturdy and a perfect workhorse for those who use their printer often for text documents on a regular basis. You will mostly use the black HP number 338 cartridge if you're mainly printing regular text documents like letters etc.

The picture quality is not so good though.  The photo reproduction it produces can't pass for professional quality prints unlike the high end printers that professional photographers and hobbyists use for their pictures, however the HP ink quality is very high. But for the price you've paid for this device, you can't expect much more.  Not that the photo quality is that poor it can't print exactly like your image on the monitor.  It can capture the light and colour of the image; it’s just that the print quality is not that good that you would use this printer exclusively for photo printing -- though it would be passable to print colour pictures on this printer for regular schoolwork or for business proposals and presentations.

The deskjet 5745 is easy-to-use and reliable.  It works fast and hard giving an impressive output for office document printouts.  With its price and clean look, it is a great contribution to any office.  Though the features are limited, all the basic needs of a printer are available.  This printer may not have preview panels, or proof sheet and the Bluetooth capability that other higher end printers have, but it has everything useful you need for printing off regular stuff.  Overall, we reckon that its great value for money.
