Not for the ones who love to see colours in their prints, this little baby is not about colours and pictures.  Designed to print documents for mobile professionals that need several printing services while on the go, this has impressive basic features underneath its boring exterior.  Because of its mobile nature, this printer can be used within a wireless network or with bluetooth cards for more convenient printing.  The cards come with the package saving you tons of money, though in some Asian countries, you have to purchase the cards separately. Replacement HP cartridges can be bought from most high street stalls including supermarkets like Tesco, but you will definitely find better value buying cartridges on the internet.

HP really thought of businessmen on the go here, they made the design smaller than usual printers and the weight has been knocked down to almost half of the usual one. The printer also has the regular ports at the back of the printer and a switch for the wireless card to be turned on or off.  And for security and to prevent theft, there is a lock connector that you can buy separately.  It also has a business card holder under the belly of the printer.  Not that you cannot put business cards in your wallet or in your car just as easily, but it's a nice touch to make it more business orientated.

The HP deskjet 460cb , though not mind-blowing impressive, still meets the basic requirement of the average mobile professional.  It takes about a minute to power up the printer, but I guess that is still faster than looking for another printer while travelling away from the office.  The printing is not incredibly fast but you can print in draft mode to speed it up.  And the photo print quality is not something to be proud of, but the text document prints are readable even at point 4 size.  And the best thing about this compact printer is that runs on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries which Hewlett Packard claim that it can print up to 450 pages on one single charge.
